Allergy Disclaimer
WARNING: While our suppliers make every effort to ensure that only the ingredients shown are included in your gift, it is very likely that your gift ingredients may have been processed using equipment that has traces of a variety of nut, fruit, grain or dairy products. If your potential recipient, or others who might consume the gifts, are highly allergic to common food products, for their safety, we highly recommend that you order one of our non-food gifts.
Shipping Policies
The customer shall choose, at the time of purchase, the shipping method desired for each shipment. No delivery date is guaranteed unless the Next Day or 2nd Day shipment method is chosen by the customer. However, Best In Gift Baskets will use its best efforts to deliver on or near the 'Expected Delivery Date' chosen at the time the order was placed for all orders.
In order for Best In Gift Baskets to process shipments in an orderly fashion, any orders received (and scheduled to ship) before the cutoff time of 2:00 p.m. EST will be scheduled for shipment on the current business day; and any orders received after the cutoff time of 2:00 p.m. EST will be shipped on a subsequent business day. (Business Days are Monday through Friday).
The customer understands that Best In Gift Baskets does not ship on Friday for Saturday delivery for any product, nor does it ship on Friday for Monday delivery of any floral or heat sensitive product.
An Address Correction fee of $12.00 will be assessed to the customer and charged to offset the costs of correcting or rerouting a product shipment with an incorrect address to its intended destination. This fee will be charged whenever an incorrect address is entered for an order. (Our shipping carriers charge this fee, which is passed on to the customer.) Address Correction fees are generally assessed 10 to 30 days after the shipment when we are billed by the shipping carrier.
Best In Gift Baskets mostly uses UPS to ship the gift baskets. For delivery to APO/FPO addresses, please contact us first to get the shipping costs.
Shipping is based on a fixed amount and will be calculated at checkout. UPS Ground is automatically calculated as the first shipping option for all products, except the fresh roses.
The fresh roses have the shipping costs built in, and no additional shipping will be added to these products at checkout.
Return Policy for Damaged Goodsshipping on Monday and Tuesday. All fruit orders placed Wednesday, Thursday or Friday do not offer ground shipping and must select the appropriate express shipping option.
Best In Gift Baskets will issue a credit for products that are damaged. The damaged goods must be inspected and verified by the shipping carrier, and a "Damaged Goods Claim" must be filed. The customer must contact Best In Gift Baskets by e-mail, or in writing, within 3-days of the original shipment date of the order. The original shipping box must be kept. Funds may take up to 4-6 weeks to be distributed during this claim process. For returns caused by delivery attempts to bad addresses, shipments refused by the recipient, or that are undeliverable for any reason other than errors attributed to Best In Gift Baskets, there will be a minimum $20.00 charge per order deducted from the refund credit.
Backorder Policy
Best In Gift Baskets will do its best to complete your order and ship all products exactly as they are viewed on our web site. There may be times when, due to high volume of product sales, we need to substitute ingredients, packing materials, containers, decorations or other items in order to fulfill the order. We won't adjust the price or communicate that we have made a substitution, but we do attempt to use a higher value item when it is necessary to substitute. In doing so, there should be no reason for a back order on our products.
Suggestions to Follow for Package Inspection:
Here are some suggestions to follow in order to insure a fast and efficient damaged goods policy:
- Inspect the package at the time of delivery.
- Get a copy of the delivery receipt from the shipping carrier.
- If the product is damaged due to shipping, the package can be refused.
- Write down the damages on the delivery receipt. (This helps with the "Damaged Goods Claim" with the shipping carrier).
- Be sure to keep the shipping box, as is, so it can be returned with the original packing slip.

Privacy Statement
For each visitor to our Web page, our Web server automatically recognizes no information regarding the domain or e-mail address. We collect the e-mail address of those who communicate with us via e-mail, aggregate information on what pages consumers access or visit, user specific information on what pages consumers access or visit and information volunteered by the consumer, such as survey information and/or site registrations.
The information we collect is used for internal review and is then discarded, used to improve the content of our Web page, used to customize the content and/or layout of our page for individual consumer and used by us to contact consumers for marketing purposes.
